One of the ideas from Day 3 of Pattern Play was to break up a difficult to use paper into panels. I like this black/white paper that I have had for many years but hadn’t manage to use it on a card so thought I would give it a go.
I mounted the panels on black and it certainly toned down the paper enough to use on a card but it took me a long time to actually come up with a final design that worked. Kristina’s missive “Don’t give up! There’s a reason why it’s called “hard to use” paper encouraged me to keep going and this is the result. It looks so simple now I wonder why it took me so long to there there!
